 2011 Meetings Minimize

The Planning Commission meets on the second and/or fourth (as needed) Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Township Meeting Room.  Below are the meeting dates for 2012:

RECENT ACTIONS:

SUBDIVISION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT

  • Wills Prelim./Final 3-Lot Subdivision, 35 Locksley Rd.  Discussion on this subdivision is close to being finalized.
  • Gricco, Final Subdivision, 205/209 Locksley Rd.  The plan proposes to amend the subdivision known as “Thomas Damon” approved in 1985 to reconfigure the existing 2 separate driveways into a single driveway.  Discussions have been put on hold until revised plans are received. 

ORDINANCES:

  • Accessory Structure Regulations:  The members are awaiting a draft ordinance from Land Planner, Wayne Grafton, which as requested by the members, will regulate solar and wind applications by way of the Conditional Use process.
  • Sign Ordinance:  The Planning Commission is deeply involved in discussions regarding various amendments to the Township’s current Sign Ordinance.  Rick Miller, Chairman of the Historic Committee, has also been invited to give input to these discussions.     
  • Comprehensive Plan:  The 2010 census figures are still being analyzed.  Feedback from the members has been received and amendments are being made while discussing the future goals and objectives of our Township.

The public is invited to attend Planning Commission meetings.  They are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.  Public comment is welcome at all Planning Commission meetings.
